Diploma in Foods & Nutrition is a one-year diploma program.This course field consists of study of selection, packaging, preservation, processing, distribution, and use of safe, nutritious, and wholesome food.
Food & Nutrition programme is designed in such a way that it helps students and professionals explore new food sources, discover new ways to formulate processed foods safe and devise new ways to process, store, preserve and distribute food.
This course trains students to prepare food, menus, and special diets. Additionally, it helps students to develop teamwork skills, develop sharp minds, and become knowledgeable about nutrition.
Diploma in Food and Nutrition courses include various private and government organizations such as in Food Service, Hospitals, Care Homes, Hotels, Catering Companies, Schools and Colleges, Retirement Community Centres etc.
Students may choose to work in regulatory capacities in private industry or governmental bodies. They will gain knowledge about federal food guidelines, food laws, and nutrient databases. Students may also develop an understanding of applied economics and government structures, as well as business principles.
After completing Diploma in Food and Nutrition course Diet Technician, Nutrition Manager, Marketing/ Sales Consultant, Catering Manager, Food Service Supervisor, Quality Control Manager etc.
